The EC co-funded OptiMoRE project did take on the challenge to develop and optimize the concept of fully integrated, range-extended, electrified light duty vehicle. Three different Range Extender concepts have been developed and demonstrated to serve the niches from city vehicles, medium sized passenger cars up to light commercial vehicles. The OptiMoRE engine configuration has started from the basis, achieved in the FUEREX project, moved towards reducing cost and weight and improved efficiency in real driving cycles. There are three different Range Extender concepts within the project. Read all about the results on the Demonstration vehicles here!

The final OPTIMORE workshop was a great succes! The first day, at Chalmers, an overview of all the results from the OPTIMORE project were presented followed by an evening event to further discuss the results. The second day was held at the Volvo driving test track in Gothenburg, where the invited guests and the project partners could “experience” the driving in electric and electric Range Extender vehicles.
